WBCA, Pat Summitt Leadership Group Announce Strategic Partnership
ATLANTA (Feb. 13, 2020) — The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and the Pat Summitt Leadership Group (PSLG) have teamed up to develop and offer educational leadership programs for girls’ and women’s basketball coaches. Utilizing “coach of the century” Pat Summitt’s “Definite Dozen” principles, coaches and student-athletes alike will learn to become successful leaders both on and off the court through two new educational programs — the Pat Summitt Definite Dozen Leadership Kit and the Pat Summitt Online Leadership Program.

Over her 38 year career at UT, Coach Summitt led the Lady Vols to 8 National Championships, 18 NCAA Final Fours, and 32 SEC Championships while having a 100% student-athlete graduation rate.
Candace Parker headlines six inductees for Tennessee Athletics Hall of Fame
Former women's basketball star Candace Parker headlines a group of six former Vols who will be inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame, Tennessee announced Monday. Joining Parker are Doug Dickey (coach/administrator), R.A. Dickey (baseball), Christine Magnuson (women's swimming), Gus Manning (administrator) and Tony Parrilla (men's track).
UConn, Tennessee to compete in Basketball Hall of Fame revival series
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame said the upcoming Hall of Fame Game will feature the UConn Huskies and the Tennessee Lady Vols. This is the first time in 13 years they will hitting the hardwood together.
